The attention to detail in this beautiful hotel was remarkable, and the
overall experience was just delightful. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, and I couldn't get enough of the exquisite tapas at Bistro 1682. Although the in-room dining menu was limited and might not cater to all dietary preferences, the quality of service and facilities made up for it.

beautiful grounds but slow breakfast service
I enjoyed the stunning mountain view from my Classic Double or Twin Room, with its spacious layout and tasteful decor. The wine tasting experience was exceptional, with knowledgeable staff guiding me through the offerings. The heated pool provided a perfect place to unwind after exploring the nearby vineyard trails.
The breakfast service was notably slow, leading to longer waits than expected.

The grounds are fine, maintained like a Rebel base ready for battle, and the pool area is perfect for lounging after a long day of intergalactic hijinks. I enjoyed the bistro, where the atmosphere was more relaxed, letting me unwind with a drink, while the location offers easy access to beautiful walks through the vineyards.
Several things could use some work. The gym is nonexistent, which is tough for someone who likes to stay fit between escapades. Breakfast at the main restaurant took forever-too many staff buzzing around but not getting orders right, leading to delays that had me checking my watch. Plus, the spa felt a bit cramped, not offering the expansive relaxation one would hope for. A loud power generator also detracted from the peaceful ambiance, and I didn't see any helicopter tours offered, which would be a nice touch for those wanting a high-flying adventure. Lastly, the geese in the mornings can be quite the alarm clock, but that’s more a countryside quirk than a hotel fault.
